We hired Jeff after seeing friends’ yards he had designed. We wanted multiple elements – demo, hardscape, outdoor kitchen, arbor, plant design, irrigation, drainage and planting beds and we have a large yard. Jeff‘s plans included each item we requested, he was thoughtful and diligent about each item and he is so talented at what he does. He has the ability to visualize a space, create designs, and put in plants that will work in our yard. Neither my husband nor myself have the ability to visualize. So, starting the process was overwhelming. Jeff worked with us through the development of the plans and selection of plants (he made it super easy with iPad pictures, as we had no idea what would work and what plants we wanted) – a process we thought would be difficult, but we found it exciting not overwhelming. He put us in touch with other clients who had elements which we were considering, but had doubt about. While many professionals may provide the initial design, Jeff went above and beyond, working with us all the way through the selection of a contractor, including a very important “gut check” discussion on how we were thinking through the bids and costs. Jeff’s plans are exceptionally detailed – all contractors who bid our project noted this – he knows what works, and demands that the contractor follow the plans to a tee, something that benefits the client for years to come. In addition to just doing the landscape architecture and design, he visited our site after his design work was done, he interacted with the contractor and subcontractors, and even spent a half day with us selecting granite for our outdoor kitchen. He provides service for the long haul, and I’d feel comfortable calling him any time to ask advice. I highly recommend Jeff to anyone who is looking for unique, high-quality, expert landscape architect and design, no matter what the challenge. Jeff is up to the task!
